Discuss The difference ways that men have been represented in Deadpool and one text we have studied.

The male gender is the represented in a number of way in the film Deadpool. We are introduced to a number of different male characters and they have all been represented slightly different. The first example we are going to analyse is when we see deadpool sat on top of the freeway bridge. This can be perceived to show the character deadpool in a way that does not conform to the stereotypical conventions of a male superhero character. This makes the overall theme of the deadpool film which is to break down perceived necessary set of characteristics for a certain piece of media to fall into a certain category.
